Metalcraft have been awarded a $7.5 million dollar order for the manufacture of pressure vessels for an FPSO vessel destined for Brazil. Almost 500 tonnes of duplex stainless steel will be required to manufacture the pressure vessels, the largest being 140 tonnes, 20m long & 4.5m diameter. A total of 5 off pressure hulls for saturation dive systems have been ordered, this in addition to a further submersible pressure hull strengthens our grip on this niche market.
